What does a overnight stocker do?

Department: Operations

Shift: Overnight

Reports To: Department Manager

Summary:

Assist in maintaining an efficient inventory system by unloading, checking, and loading merchandise overnight. May also assist with general store maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Unload and inspect deliveries overnight when the store is closed

- Scan inventory and verify accuracy

- Fill shelves with merchandise

- Place orders for additional inventory as needed

- Maintain clean and organized stock room

- Assist customers who may be in the store during overnight stocking

- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Department Manager

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
