How to Make Calendula Tea (4 Steps)
Calendula tea is touted as a natural remedy for various ailments, including stomach ulcers and inflammation. As with many natural remedies, there is little scientific evidence to back up the benefits offered by calendula tea. Calendula is the scientific name for the marigold flower; calendula tea is made with common marigold flowers. Despite the lack of evidence for health benefits, many people swear by calendula tea and enjoy the taste.
Things You'll Need
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp. marigold flowers
- Cup
- Tea strainer
Instructions
-
Place your marigold flowers into a small cup or container.
-
Heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a boiling point. Pour the boiling water into the container with the marigold leaves.

Add honey or sugar for taste, if desired. Serve the calendula tea while it's hot.
