How to Make Elderberry Tea
As the small, edible berry of the elder tree, elderberries are often used to combat colds and influenza. Elderberry is quite effective against body aches and pains, and is also a fever reducer. While these berries come in various forms ranging from ripe berries to pills, the tea is very popular. When made correctly, this tea is very tasty and provides relief from cold or flu symptoms. Here is a very quick homemade recipe for elderberry tea.
Things You'll Need
- 3 tsp. of dried elderberry flowers
- 1/2 cup of boiling water
Instructions

Add three tsp. of dried elderberry flowers into 1/2 cup of boiling water.

Simmer for approximately 10 minutes.

Allow tea to cool.

Strain the tea.
