How to Make Feverfew Tea (5 Steps)

Feverfew tea has long been a folk medicine for not only bringing down a fever, but also to relieve the symptoms of a migraine headache. Feverfew is easy to grow in most regions of the United States, and the leaves can be used for tea either in the fresh or dried state. Feverfew can be grown at home or is available in most health food stores or herbal medicine shops.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 tsp. feverfew
  • Measuring spoon
  • Tea ball
  • Drinking cup
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Chop or tear the leaves of fresh feverfew into small pieces.

  2. Place 1 tsp. of leaves into a tea ball. Set the tea ball into a drinking cup.

  3. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the tea ball.

  4. Allow the tea to steep for five minutes.

  5. Remove the tea ball, and drink while the tea is still warm.
