Do it Yourself Flavored Loose Tea

Loose-leaf tea tastes more flavorful than tea placed in bags. Loose-leaf tea lasts for up to two years when stored properly in an airtight container. Many varieties of loose-leaf tea exist such as green, herbal, oolong and black. The loose-leaf tea can be infused with natural water-soluble extracts that contain alcohol. Common extracts used in flavoring tea include lavender, lemon, orange and peppermint. You can make your own flavored loose leaf tea at home instead of purchasing it from the store. Once you make your own flavored loose leaf tea, you can store it in an airtight container so that you always have it on hand.
