How to Make Tea With White Grape Juice (13 Steps)
Icy cold and refreshing in summer or steaming hot and comforting in winter, green tea flavored with tangy white grape juice is a healthy alternative to sugary or caffeinated beverages. With a more subtle flavor than regular purple juice, white grape juice blends smoothly with tea. Although the nutritional content is slightly lower than that of purple juice, white grape juice still provides a healthy dose of antioxidants and vitamin C.

- Tea cups
- Loose green tea or green tea bags
- Tea balls
- Saucepan or microwave-safe cup or bowl
- White grape juice
- Lemon slices (optional)
- Heatproof pitcher
- Ice cubes
- Serving glasses
Hot Tea with White Grape Juice

Bring a teapot filled with fresh, cold water to a simmer. Remove the pot from the burner before the water comes to a full boil, as green tea tastes better when the water isn't too hot. While the tea is heating, fill tea cups with hot tap water to keep the cups warm.

Place a small amount of loose green tea in tea ball, using a separate tea ball for each cup of tea. As a general rule, use about 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per cup. If you prefer to use green tea bags instead of loose tea and tea balls, use one tea bag per person.

Empty the hot water from the serving cups, then place the tea balls or bags in the warm cups. Fill the cups about two-thirds full with boiling water.

Heat a small amount of white grape juice in a saucepan. Alternatively, place the juice in a microwave-safe cup or bowl and warm it in the microwave oven.

Allow the tea to steep for about three minutes. Remove the tea balls or bags, then fill each cup to the top with the warm white grape juice.

Garnish the tea with lemon slices, if desired. Serve the hot tea immediately.
Iced Tea with White Grape Juice

Fill a pot or saucepan with fresh water, then bring the water to a simmer.

Place green tea bags in a teapot or other heatproof container. Use two bags for each cup of tea because a stronger tea is required to make iced tea. If you prefer to use loose leaves, use 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves for each cup of tea.

Pour the hot water over the tea, then steep the tea for about three minutes. Don't allow the tea to steep too long or it may develop a bitter flavor.

Place ice in a heatproof pitcher, using about a handful of ice for each cup of tea.

Stir the tea and remove the tea bags, then pour the hot tea over the ice. If you used loose tea, pour the tea through a fine strainer or a coffee filter to remove the leaves.

Add white grape juice to the tea. Use approximately 1/2 cup of juice per cup of tea, depending on your preference.

Cover the pitcher and chill the tea mixture in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve, then pour the tea into glasses filled with ice cubes. (Ref. 7)
