Can you keep swordtails with a jack dempsey?
Swordtails are peaceful, livebearer fish that are not compatible with aggressive cichlids like Jack Dempseys. Swordtails are slow-moving and would easily become prey for a Jack Dempsey. Jack Dempseys are also known to be territorial and may harass or even kill swordtails. It is best to keep these two species of fish separate to ensure the safety and well-being of both.
