What drinks are served at Langar?

Langar, a free community kitchen offered by Sikh Gurdwaras (temples), serves only vegetarian food. This includes:

* Dal (Lentil soup)

* Roti (Flatbread)

* Sabzi (Vegetables)

* Kheer (Rice pudding)

No drinks are served at Langar. This is because the focus is on providing nourishing food to everyone, and the practice of not serving drinks is rooted in Sikh tradition.

However, water is always available freely at Langar.

It's important to remember that Langar is a sacred and selfless act of service, and visitors are encouraged to contribute to its upkeep in any way they can, even if it's just by washing dishes after their meal.
