Do all cows produce milk you drink?
Not all cows produce milk that is safe for humans to drink. Milk cows, often referred to as dairy cows, are specifically bred and raised for their milk production. To produce milk, the cows need to be pregnant or have recently given birth.
The milk from cows that are not pregnant or have not recently given birth may contain elevated levels of hormones and antibiotics, making it unsuitable for human consumption. Therefore, farmers ensure that only the milk from lactating cows is collected for human consumption.
