How to Make a Strawberry - Kiwi Smoothie (3 Steps)
I've recently discovered kiwis and smoothies and both of them are awesome! I never realized what all the fuss about smoothies was; now I do. Who knew that whizzing fruit together with orange juice and ice could be so good? Here's how to make a guilt free sweet treat that's actually good for you and only about 150 calories.
Things You'll Need
- 1 kiwi - peeled and sliced
- 1 cup strawberries - fresh or frozen
- ½ cup orange juice
- 1 cup crushed ice -
- blender
Instructions
-
Place the kiwi, strawberries and ice in the blender. Kiwis have tiny black seeds but don't worry, they are edible. Add the orange juice last so it will melt the ice a little bit.
-
Blend until smooth. If you have a Magic Bullet it works even better than the blender because you don't have to transfer it to a cup.
-
Adjust the recipe until you find the right thickness. If you like your smoothies to be spoonable, you can add more or less ice and juice depending on your preference.
