What percent of alcoholics stay sober?

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism estimates that about 3 in 4 alcoholics who receive treatment will have a relapse within 1 year. In addition, it is estimated that about 10% of alcoholics will stay sober for more than 5 years.
