How is strawberry milk made?

Method:

1. Combine. In a large mixing bowl, combine the following:

* 4 cups of milk (we used 2% or whole milk)

* 1 cup of strawberries, hulled and halved or quartered (we used fresh strawberries)

* 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar (or more, to taste)

2. Blend. Use an immersion blender to blend the milk and strawberry mixture until smooth and all of the strawberries are pureed. Alternatively, you can also transfer all of the ingredients to a countertop blender.

3. Filter. Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into another large mixing bowl to separate out any remaining strawberry seeds or pulp.

4. Adjust. Taste the strawberry milk and add additional sugar, if needed.

5. Chill. Transfer the strawberry milk to a pitcher or container and place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight to chill.

6. Serve. Enjoy cold, over ice.
