Can infants have watered down apple juice?
It is not recommended to give watered-down apple juice or any fruit juice to infants under the age of one. Their immature kidneys are not yet able to handle the high sugar content of fruit juices, which can lead to diarrhea and other health problems. Additionally, fruit juices do not provide any nutritional value that infants cannot get from breast milk or formula. Water is the best beverage for infants under the age of one, and should be offered whenever they are thirsty.
