How to Make Jello Ice-Cubes (4 Steps)

Jell-O makes an ideal holiday treat. It's got a lot of color options, and it's not hard to make. It's also a versatile item, and one option is a set of Jell-O ice cubes. The finished cubes can be served in light-colored drinks to give the drinks extra visual appeal.

Things You'll Need

  • Ice tray
  • Bowls
  • Freezer

Instructions

  1. Mix different flavors of Jell-O in different bowls. Put them in the refrigerator until they are firm. Fill half of the slots in an ice-cube tray with water or fruit juice, and put the tray in the freezer.

  2. Once both have solidified, take out the Jell-O and cut it into cubes small enough to fit into compartments in the tray.

  3. Take out the ice-cube trays, and place a Jell-O cube into each compartment. Fill each cube with more water or more juice as needed.

  4. Place the trays back into the freezer until the upper layer freezes.
