Can you heat up a cup of coffee by yelling at it?
Unfortunately, no. Yelling at your coffee won't make it hotter.
Here's why:
* Heat is energy: Heating something up requires adding energy to it.
* Sound is vibration: Yelling produces sound waves, which are just vibrations in the air.
* Energy transfer: While sound can transfer some energy, the amount of energy in a yell is far too small to significantly heat a cup of coffee.
You'll need a more traditional heat source like a microwave, stovetop, or coffee maker to get your coffee warm!
