How much does a bag of coffee weigh when it comes from its producer?
Coffee is usually sold in 12-ounce bags when it reaches consumers. However, when it comes directly from the producer, it is typically sold in much larger quantities, such as 60-kilogram bags. This is because coffee beans lose weight during the roasting and grinding process, and because it is more efficient to ship large quantities of coffee at once.
