Whats in a cocktail called side car?

* 2 ounces cognac

* 1 ounce orange liqueur

* 1 ounce lemon juice

* 1/2 ounce simple syrup

* 1 cherry

Instructions

1. Add the cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.

2. Add 3/4 to 1 cup of ice cubes and shake briskly for 15 seconds.

3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

4. Garnish with a cherry.
