How to Make a Champagne Margarita (8 Steps)
Summertime is a perfect time to try out some new refreshing cocktails. If you're like me, regular margaritas make my mouth curl a little and I don't particularly enjoy them. Here is my twist on a regular margarita that is elegant, simple, and delicious! This is a recipe for individual glasses but if you'd like to make a large pitcher for a party, you can use the same ratio.
Things You'll Need
- A bottle of champagne (I use Korbel)
- Tequila (I prefer Cazadores Blanco; don't go too cheap!)
- Triple Sec
- Limes
- Ice
Instructions
-
Put ice in a shake (if you don't have a shaker you can use two glasses of the same size to pour back and forth in order to mix later).
-
Place 1 ounce of tequila in the shaker over the ice.
-
Add 1 ounce of triple sec.
-
Add 3 ounces of champagne.
-
Add the juice of about half of a lime.
-
Shake your ingredients in the shaker or mix between two glasses.
-
Pour mixture (minus the ice) into a champagne glass. Garnish with a lime if you please.
-
Enjoy!
