Does salicylic acid react with apple cider vinegar?
Salicylic acid and apple cider vinegar are both acidic, so they can react with each other to form a salt called sodium salicylate. This reaction is not typically observed in skincare products because the concentration of salicylic acid in these products is usually too low to cause a noticeable reaction. However, if you mix salicylic acid with apple cider vinegar in a concentrated form, you may see a reaction occur.
