Is beer native to Ireland?
Beer is not native to Ireland. The earliest evidence of brewing in Ireland dates back to the 6th century BC, when the Celts fermented a drink called "cuirm" from barley and honey. However, the brewing of beer as we know it today was introduced to Ireland by the Normans in the 12th century.
