What number should your fridge be at on the digital display?

There is usually no digital display on a refrigerator, but instead the desired set temperature can be set using a dial or electronic +/- buttons with a temperature range between 33 and 45°F. The refrigerator should be set at the coldest setting that will keep food without it freezing. Many people recommend to set the fridge at 38°F, but it may be a little warmer. Be sure to monitor perishable foods and adjust if needed. The freezer should always be kept 0°F or lower to prevent food from gradually spoiling.
