How long can a meat pie stay in warmer?

Meat pies have a short shelf life due to the nature of their ingredients. Once a meat pie has been cooked, the most important factor is to cool it quickly. The recommended time for perishable, cooked or reheated food to stand at room temperature is a maximum of 2 hours, and one hour during the summer months. For meat pies that have been left out for longer than this, it is usually recommended that they be discarded for safety reasons.
