What is the source of chocolate?
Chocolate is made from the seeds of the cacao tree, scientifically known as _Theobroma cacao_. The cacao tree is native to the tropical regions of the Americas and has been cultivated for thousands of years. The beans are harvested from the fruit of the cacao tree, fermented, dried, roasted, and ground into a paste. This paste is then used to make various chocolate products, such as chocolate bars, cocoa powder, and chocolate milk.
