Does someone have a copy of the central cookery chocolate self saucing pudding that they can out for me?
Central Cookery Chocolate Self-Saucing Pudding
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Lightly grease a 1-liter (4-cup) pudding basin with butter.
3. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, caster sugar, and eggs.
5. Gradually whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
6. Pour the boiling water into the mixture and stir until just combined.
7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pudding basin.
8. In a small bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons water and remaining 1/4 cup caster sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
9. Pour the sugar syrup evenly over the top of the pudding mixture.
10. Cover the pudding basin with foil and place in a preheated oven.
11. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the pudding is cooked through.
12. Serve hot with whipped cream or ice cream.
