Do you need to add flour chocolate chip cookies if used stick margarine?
Typically, you do not need to add extra flour to chocolate chip cookie dough if using stick margarine instead of butter. Stick margarine is solid at room temperature, much like butter, so it should not significantly change the consistency of the cookie dough. However, if you find that your cookie dough is too soft, you can chill it for a few minutes to firm it up.
