How to Make Hershey Kisses Mice

As a sweet treat, mice made from Hershey's kisses look adorable when placed on a plate. In a pretty gift box, the treats present themselves as a creative gift for a loved one or a friend. Attach a string to turn them into an ornament to hang from a Christmas tree. The candy is shaped into a point at one end, making it the perfect shape for a mouse's face with a long nose.

Things You'll Need

  • Two Hershey's Kisses
  • Double-Sided Tape
  • Pink Felt
  • Scissors
  • Fishing line
  • Two Googly Eyes
  • 4-inch Curling Ribbon

Instructions

  1. Cut two mouse ears from pink felt. The ears should be about 3/8-inch high.

  2. Use double-sided tape to tape the bottom of the ears to the flat side of one of the kisses. Make them stick up like mouse ears would.

  3. Cut an eight-inch length of fishing line and tie the two ends together. Use the double-sided tape to affix the tape to the flat side of the chocolate behind the ears. This will be the hanger for the ornament. If you're not using the mouse as an ornament, skip this step.

  4. Join the two flat sides of the Hershey's Kisses together using the double-sided tape. Point the ears and loop of fishing line up.

  5. Remove the two pieces of paper that stick out of the pointed end of the Hershey's Kisses.

  6. Glue two googly eyes on to the candy that is the face of the mouse.

  7. Stick a four-inch piece of curling ribbon into the tail end of the mouse. This ribbon can be any color.
