- ½ cup melted butter

- 1 box of yellow cake mix

- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar

- 1 (21-ounce) can of cherry pie filling, divided

Instructions:

1. Pre heat oven to 350°.

2. Grease the square (8 or 9 -inch) baking dish to prevent any type of sticking that would cause breakage on removal.

3. Pour half of the cherry pie filling in the baking dish followed by the already baked cake into pieces then the remainder of the cherry pie filling,

4. Sprinkle cake mix to cover mixture in dish

5. Top with brown sugar, then butter.

6. Bake approximately an hour to golden on top with bubbly filling. Enjoy.
