How do you make a cake made with cola?

Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup cola (any flavor)

- 1/4 cup vegetable oil

- 1 large egg

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (for the cake batter and frosting)

Instructions:

To make the cake:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cola, oil, egg, and vanilla extract.

4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate chips.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

7. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8. Let the cake cool completely in the pan before making the frosting.

To make the frosting:

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of cola over low heat. Stir constantly until the chocolate chips melt and the mixture is smooth.

2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3. Beat the butter and cream cheese together in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in the confectioner's sugar until well blended.

4. Add the cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla extract and beat until combined.

To assemble the cake:

1. Once the cake is completely cool, spread the frosting on top.

2. Decorate with additional chocolate chips or your favorite toppings.

3. Chill the cake for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Enjoy your cola cake!
