Does Lemon Juice kill head lice?
While anecdotal evidence supports the use of various natural remedies, such as lemon juice, for treating head lice, scientific studies have not consistently shown lemon juice to be an effective treatment. The acidity of lemon juice may help loosen and remove nits (lice eggs) but is unlikely to kill live lice effectively. Medical treatments, such as over-the-counter or prescription lice shampoo, are generally recommended for reliable elimination of lice infestation.
