What does a moldy apple look like?
A moldy apple will have spots of various colors, such as white, green, blue, or black, on its skin. The mold may also cause the apple to become soft and mushy. In some cases, the entire apple may be covered in mold. If you see any mold on an apple, it is best to throw it away, as it is no longer safe to eat.
