How to Vacuum Seal & Freeze Green Peppers (3 Steps)

Vacuuming sealing is the process of removing all air from a package of food; this helps keep the food fresher longer and bacteria free. Freezing is another way to keep food for longer period without it going bad. Put the two methods together and you have a great way to make your foods last as long as possible.

Things You'll Need

  • Vacuum food sealer
  • Vacuum sealing bags
  • Knife
  • Marker

Instructions

  1. Clean the green peppers by running them under cold water. Slice them into strips or small pieces and remove the seeds.

  2. Fill a vacuum sealing bag with green peppers. Load the bag into the vacuum food sealer and turn the sealer on.

  3. Write the current date on the package of green peppers after it has been sealed and put the package into the freezer. The frozen peppers should last approximately one year.
