How to Keep Peanut Oil (3 Steps)
Cooks use peanut oil mainly for frying foods. It can handle high heat and is, therefore, suitable for use in woks or even for frying large items, such as turkeys.
According to information posted on the Puritan's Pride website, peanut oil is a monounsaturated fat, as are canola oil and olive oil. Peanut oil will keep for many months if you store it properly.

Instructions
-
Keep the peanut oil in the original container, or pour it into smaller bottles made of dark glass.
-
Cap the bottles tightly. Place labels on the bottles of peanut oil and write the date on which you are storing them.
-
Place the bottles in your refrigerator. According to Peanut Shellers, the oil should last from six months to a year if stored away from light and heat. Smell the oil when you bring it out to use it. Peanut oil will develop an odor when it is going bad, so throw it away if you notice a change since you first placed it in the refrigerator.
