What special feature does a banana tree have?

Bananas grow on the world's largest herbaceous flowering plant. Banana plants are classified as herbs despite their tree-like appearance because they do not have woody stems. Instead, their stems are made of tightly packed leaf stalks that can grow up to 15 meters (49 feet) tall and produce a single bunch of bananas containing up to 200 individual fruits.
