What is a recipe for homemade grape ice cream?
Homemade Grape Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, and then remove from heat.
2. Stir in the grapes and lemon juice.
3. Let the mixture cool completely, then cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
4. Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
