How do you soften paper?
1. Apply heat. This is the most common way to soften paper. You can iron the paper on low heat or place it in a warm oven for a few minutes. Be careful not to overheat the paper, as this could cause it to become brittle.
2. Use a hair dryer. If you don't have an iron or oven, you can also use a hair dryer to soften paper. Hold the hair dryer about 6 inches away from the paper and move it back and forth until the paper is soft.
3. Dampen the paper. This is a good way to soften paper if you don't want to use heat. Simply spray the paper with water until it's slightly damp, then let it dry thoroughly.
4. Use a fabric softener. Add a few drops of fabric softener to a cup of water, then spray the mixture onto the paper. Let the paper dry completely before using it.
5. Condition the paper. You can condition paper by rubbing it with a bar of soap. This will help to soften the paper and make it more pliable.
6. Use wax paper. Wax paper can be used to soften paper by placing it between sheets of paper and ironing it on low heat. The wax from the paper will help to soften the sheets of paper. Use caution with glossy ink as this process causes bubbling/smudging if too hot. Always experiment, first.
By using one of these methods, you can easily soften paper for a variety of projects.
