What absorbs cooking oil?
* Paper towels. These are the most convenient option for absorbing cooking oil. Simply place a few paper towels on top of the oil and they will soak it up.
* Bread. Bread is another effective way to absorb cooking oil. Tear off a piece of bread and press it into the oil. The bread will soak up the oil and can then be discarded.
* Cornstarch. Cornstarch can be used to absorb cooking oil by sprinkling it over the oil and then stirring it in. The cornstarch will absorb the oil and can then be wiped away with a paper towel.
* Baking soda. Baking soda can also be used to absorb cooking oil. Sprinkle baking soda over the oil and then let it sit for a few minutes. The baking soda will absorb the oil and can then be wiped away with a paper towel.
* Dish soap. Dish soap can be used to absorb cooking oil by adding a few drops to the oil and then stirring it in. The dish soap will break down the oil and make it easier to wipe away with a paper towel.
