How do you get tape residue off a stainless steel appliance?
To remove adhesive residue from stainless steel, you will need rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth.
1. Apply a Rubbing Alcohol. Using a soft cloth, apply rubbing alcohol to the adhesive residue.
2. Let the Rubbing Alcohol Sit for a Few Minutes. Allow the alcohol to sit on the adhesive residue for several minutes to loosen it up.
3. Wipe the Adhesive Residue. Wipe away the loosened residue using a soft cloth.
4. Repeat the Steps if Necessary. Repeat steps 1-3 if necessary to remove all the residue.
5. Wipe Down the Surface with a Clean Cloth. Wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining rubbing alcohol.
6. Dry the Surface. Dry the surface with a dry cloth to prevent water spots from forming.
