How do you soften hard marshellows?
To soften hard marshmallows, you can use the following methods:
Microwave: Place the marshmallows in a microwave-safe dish and heat on high for 10-15 seconds, or until they are soft. Be careful not to overheat them, as they can easily burn.
Double Boiler: Place the marshmallows in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are melted and smooth.
Slow Cooker: Place the marshmallows in a slow cooker with a small amount of water. Cover and cook on high for 1-2 hours, or until the marshmallows are softened.
Oven: Preheat the oven to 175°F. Place the marshmallows on a baking sheet and bake for 5-10 minutes, or until they are softened.
Toast: Place the marshmallows on a toaster oven tray and toast for a few minutes, or until they are softened.
Note: Be sure to not add more liquid than necessary. You can always add more liquid if needed, but it's harder to remove it.
