How do you decalification the garment cleaner?
To descale a garment cleaner, you will need:
- A descaling agent (such as vinegar or a commercial descaling product)
- Water
- A measuring cup
- A funnel
Instructions:
1. Turn off the garment cleaner and unplug it from the power outlet.
2. Remove the water tank and empty it.
3. Add the descaling agent to the water tank. The amount of descaling agent you need will vary depending on the product you are using, so be sure to read the instructions on the package carefully.
4. Fill the water tank with water to the maximum fill line.
5. Replace the water tank and plug the garment cleaner back into the power outlet.
6. Turn on the garment cleaner and allow it to run for the recommended cycle time.
7. After the cycle is complete, turn off the garment cleaner and unplug it from the power outlet.
8. Empty the water tank and rinse it well with water.
9. Refill the water tank with water and plug the garment cleaner back into the power outlet.
10. Turn on the garment cleaner and allow it to run for a few minutes to rinse out any residual descaling agent.
Tips:
- If you live in an area with hard water, you may need to descale your garment cleaner more frequently.
- You can also descale your garment cleaner by using a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Simply follow the instructions above, using the vinegar solution instead of a commercial descaling product.
- Be sure to rinse the water tank thoroughly after descaling to remove any residual descaling agent.
