How to Cook Chicken Drumsticks

Things You'll Need

  • 1 lb. chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. coarsley ground peppercorns
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Large pot or dutch oven
  • Frying pan
  • Kitchen tongs

Instructions

  1. Set frying pan on stove top on medium heat. Add olive oil to the pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

  2. Evenly coat the chicken with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.

  3. When oil is hot, add drumsticks to the pan. Cook about a minute on each side, or until browned. Browning the chicken adds flavor and gives it a delicious, golden appearance.
