What is the best marinate and rub seasoning for pot roast?
Best Marinate:
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until combined.
2. Place the pot roast in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it.
3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Best Rub Seasoning:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients.
2. Remove the pot roast from the marinade and pat it dry.
3. Rub the seasoning all over the pot roast.
4. Place the pot roast in a roasting pan and add some of the marinade.
5. Cover the pan and roast in a preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 hours, or until the pot roast is cooked through and tender.
