How to Make Chocolate Icing for Drizzling (5 Steps)

Things You'll Need
- 16 oz. bittersweet chocolate (high quality)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Stainless steel mixing bowl
- Saucepan
- Silicone or other heatproof spatula
Instructions

Chop the chocolate into fine pieces and place the pieces into a large, stainless steel mixing bowl.

Place the heavy cream and the butter in a sauce pan over medium-high heat on the stove. Stir the mixture until it is simmering.

Remove from the heat and pour the butter-cream mixture over the chopped chocolate.

Stir the chocolate mixture with a silicone spatula until it is fully melted.

Drizzle the ganache over the dessert of your choice.
