What is diced butter?
Diced butter is unsalted cold butter that has been cut into very small cubes. It is used in baking, cooking, and pastry-making. It can be used to mix into dough, add richness to sauces, or to create flaky layers in pastries. Diced butter is better than regular butter because evenly-sized butter solids and better dispersion is a critical component to many baking and cooking techniques when butter needs to be combined with other ingredients
