What ratio do you use to replace yeast with baking powder?
Baking powder cannot be used as a direct replacement for yeast. They both are different leavening agents that function quite differently. Instead, when a recipe asks for 2 1/4 teaspoons (or one package) of yeast, add just one teaspoon of baking powder.
