How to Roll Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Pillsbury canned breads are quick-cooking side dishes to add to most any meal. As with any baked goods, proper preparation and baking are essential to a high-quality finished product. The buttery crescent roll dough produced by Pillsbury bakes in less than 15 minutes when rolled and prepared properly. Brush the rolls with a thin layer of melted butter right before putting them in the oven for added browning and butter flavor.
Things You'll Need
- Baking sheet
Instructions
-
Pull the tab on the can's label to open the can. Peel the label back to expose the seam until it pops. If the seam does not pop open, press against the edge of the seam with a spoon or knife to release it.
-
Twist the can open to expose the roll of crescent dough. Pull the dough out of the can.
-
Locate the perforated seam running across the roll of dough. Separate the dough at the seam and unroll it carefully onto a flat surface.
-
Pull each crescent triangle apart at the perforations. Start at the wide end of the triangle and loosely roll the dough toward the narrow tip. Curl the roll of dough slightly to resemble a crescent shape.
-
Place the dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake the rolls for 11 to 13 minutes in a preheated 375-degree oven.
