Do you have to refrigerate cabernet?
Cabernet does not need to be refrigerated. In fact, it is actually recommended to store wine at room temperature, around 65-68 degrees Fahrenheit, to ensure the best flavor and aroma. Refrigerating wine can cause it to lose its flavor, aroma, and texture, and can also make it more acidic. If you do need to refrigerate your wine for a short time, such as to chill it before serving, be sure to take it out of the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to warm up to room temperature.
