Should you Freeze cordon bleu cooked or uncooked?

Cordon Bleu can be frozen before or after cooking. However, it is better to freeze it uncooked.

Freezing after cooking will affect its taste and texture. Freezing it uncooked will also help preserve its quality and flavor better.

To freeze uncooked Cordon Bleu:

1. Season it with salt and pepper.

2. Prepare the breading station by mixing egg, flour, and bread crumbs on separate shallow plates.

3. Dip the Cordon Bleu into the egg, making sure to coat it completely.

4. Dredge it in the flour, shaking off any excess.

5. Dip it again in the egg.

6. Press it into the bread crumbs.

7. Arrange the breaded Cordon Bleu in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

8. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

9. Transfer the frozen Cordon Bleu to a freezer-safe bag and freeze for up to 2 months.

To cook from frozen:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Place the frozen Cordon Bleu on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
