Where do you store bread to keep it fresh longest?
Bread is best kept at room temperature. Leaving it out on the counter should not be a problem, as long as the area is not humid. You should not store it inside the refrigerator, as this will cause the bread to age more quickly. Ideally, bread should be kept within an airtight bread bin or wrapped in a plastic bag. Storing it this way can extend its freshness by up to 3 days.
