Which vegetable has only one seed?
This is a bit of a trick question! Most vegetables have more than one seed, but there are some exceptions.
Here's why it's tricky:
* "Vegetable" is not a scientific term: It's a culinary term. What we call vegetables can be fruits, roots, stems, leaves, and even flowers.
* "Seed" can mean different things: Sometimes we use the word "seed" to refer to the whole fruit. For example, when you buy a "pumpkin seed," it's actually the whole seed, including the shell.
So, there isn't a vegetable that *always* has just one seed. However, you could argue that:
* A single corn kernel is technically a fruit (containing a single seed) and considered a vegetable in cooking.
* A single pea pod contains several peas, each with a single seed.
Ultimately, the answer depends on how strictly you define "vegetable" and "seed."
