How do you measure 1 ounce of pumpkin seeds?

There are two common ways to measure 1 ounce of pumpkin seeds: using a kitchen scale or using a measuring cup.

Using a kitchen scale:

1. Place a clean bowl on the kitchen scale and tare the scale to zero.

2. Add pumpkin seeds to the bowl until the scale reads 1 ounce.

Using a measuring cup:

1. Use a measuring cup to scoop up pumpkin seeds.

2. Level off the top of the measuring cup with a knife.

3. Transfer the pumpkin seeds to a bowl.
